Team leader - Signalman

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Team Leader - Signalman to join our dynamic team in Montreal. The Team Leader - Signalman will be responsible for the planning and daily management of a team of approximately 15 signalmen.

 

Main Responsibilities:

~50% of the time:

  • Take charge of planning activities on construction sites

  • Respond to client requests

  • Track progress and provide regular reports to management

  • Other related tasks

~50% of the time (on-site):

  • Daily management of a team of approximately 15 signalmen

  • Ensure the application of safety standards and signaling procedures

  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure the efficiency and safety of operations

  • Other related tasks

 

Requirements:

  • French speaking (mandatory)

  • Previous experience as a signalman (2-3 years)

  • Experience in team management (6 months to 1 year)

  • Valid STC-SIR-1 Signalman card (mandatory)

  • Driver's License and personal vehicle for travel to job sites (mandatory)

  • Computer skills and proficiency with office tools

  • Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour

Additional Compensation: Overtime pay

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday / Weekends as needed


Job Location: Frequent travel
